The number of potential customers continues to grow as worldwide internet use continues its incredible growth .  It’s becoming more and more important for any business to get your share of these visitors to your website .  But it doesn’t end there!  You still need to get them to do business with you when they visit your website .

The visitor should be able to get around your website easily, which will be the case if your site is a clean and simple web design.  Make it intuitive. .  Leave the flashy showbiz stuff for the gaming sites…your business web design doesn’t need it, and your customers don’t want anything but the products or services they’re looking for.  Flash isn’t part of that.
If your website is a gaming site, flash is a great idea but otherwise you’re probably best to keep it to a minimum.  Google can’t read it, and frankly your visitors would much prefer solutions to their problem they’re searching for
Providing a method of interaction, i.e. a blog on your website is pretty much expected these days.  Your customers want to communicate and comment on your site, just like Facebook.   Your website should have a blog that your visitors can comment on.  Don’t forget to add your Facebook links and Twitter page.
We get a lot of great response by putting a contact form on most pages on the website.   This isn’t normal web design, but our customers tell us that it seems to be working well for them.

In addition to your human visitors, Google, Bing, and Yahoo will also appreciate your clean simple design that’s easy to navigate.   The last thing you want them to do is leave your site because they can’t navigate it! A web design that’s simple and is properly optimized will also load quickly, and that too is important to both human and bot visitors.

Visually simple and clean web design is always best.   Your visitors eyes will thank you for a light background with dark text.   White text on a dark background is hard on our eyes and will as a result increase your visitor bounce rate.

In addition to looking after Google and your web visitors, you’ll also want to ensure that your business objectives are achieved in terms of representing your company the way you want it. Additional business is usually the main objective for most business owners.   That can only happen when people can find your website, and that can only happen when your website is properly optimized for search, and off page SEO or promotion is continually practised.

To sum it up; simple, clean, and gets found.  You’ll love the results.
